GameLimited acquire Dutch Nospang
The Dutch organisation had been without a team for several months, after their previous line-up had gone through all sorts of line-up issues. After receiving multiple requests and offers, they seemed unable to find the right fit and it was only when the Dutch Nospang line-up came into contact with the management, a connection seemed to have been made.
Nospang can be considered as one of the potentially best teams in the BeNeLux right now, with wins at the local The Reality event as well as a second place finish at The Party 8. Their line-up has changed a bit, though, after these strong local results and they have incorporated two new players after the departure of Robert "mean" Kouters, who has now become a part of TheLastResort.
The biggest name to join the team is Piet "Pietje" Bijl, who is most known for his performance in and after the Summer of 2008 under the Button Bashers line-up and who has appeared in some lesser known and less impressive teams sporadically in the years since. He might be able to rekindle his love for the game under this team and use it as a step-up to a strong post-Button Bashers career. Furthermore, the team will take use of Jim "ownrr" De Ronde's services, who has more often been seen in LAN mix teams and hopefully he finds himself staying there for a long period of time.
The newly acquired GameLimited team will be looking to lay the last hands to their Frag-O-Matic preparation and with some strong teams looking to attend, they will have their work cut out for them. Realistically, the team should be aiming at a top 3 finish and if they can really play well together and form a structured group in the game, then they might best some of the stronger mix teams there.
The team will bring the following five players to the LAN:

Mark "SeiKos" Greeven

Thijs "Xzemy" Luxemburg

Darnall "desnol" Brumond

Piet "Pietje" Bijl

Jim "ownrr" De Ronde
Statement provided to TEK9 by the GameLimited Management:
"I am very happy that GameLimited has managed to acquire another top Call of Duty 4 team. GameLimited has received a lot of offers from various teams in the last few months, but it was never the right team. When Nospang reported to our management last week, we were interested right away. We have high expectations for this team and they will be present at the Frag-O-Matic event at the end of September."
Statement by Thijs "Xzemy" Luxemburg about the move Nospang made:
"We only just recently came into talks with GameLimited and we are very thrilled that they are going to give us a shot. We had a bad break when both sil and mean left us for the new TheLastResort roster, but we have found two new (old school) players, who, according to us, will make our team even better than it previously was. I would like to thank GameLimited and its sponsors for the opportunity they are giving us and we will do everything in our power to make them proud."
Frag o Matic Bonus competition
Gamelimited will be organising 2 new competitions with a new setup at Frag-O-Matic in collaboration with several sponsors. One of them will be about the challenge competition called Challenge at duty, with the single player map Mile High Club. Anyone who can finish this map at Veteran level will win a prize.
Mile High Club is a bonus campaign level of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare; this epilogue mission is unrelated to the storyline of the game's single-player campaign. The player is an unnamed Special Air Service operative battling through a double-decked aircraft to rescue a hostage in a set time limit. The time limit varies by difficulty: three minutes on Recruit, two minutes on Regular, one minute and 45 seconds on Hardened, and just one minute on Veteran. On Veteran difficulty, when saving the hostage, the player has to kill the terrorist with a headshot, or the game will say "True veterans get headshots, not flesh wounds," and will make the user start over. Also, if attempting to shoot him in the legs, he spreads his legs out resulting in a miss and he knifes the hostage. A similar result can be seen if the terrorist is knifed. On top of that Gamelimited will organize a “Build your PC” competition. In this competition it will be about who can finish building a computer the fastest. The person who can do this the fastest will earn him or herself a prize.
