Interview with Bjorn "Bjorn" Groener

The interviews are back and kicking! Today we sat down with Bjorn Groener,19 years old from Denekamp, also known in COD4 as “mTq.eg Bjorn”. From now on we’ll have our weekly interviews back on Tuesday, so come and check it out.

Hello, please introduce yourself by telling who you are, what you do in your daily life etc.
Hello, my name is Bjorn “Bjorn” Groener and I’m 19 years old. I’m a student and studying for Bar and Cafe Manager, of which I’m in the 1st of 4 years.

What is your connection to Gamelimited?
I’ve been familiar with Gamelimited for one year. I first ran in to Oomjames at The Party last April, and I’ve been playing for Mystique Gaming for over 2 months now, where Oomjames can always be found on TeamSpeak etc. Besides that I always check out the website for the latest news and interviews.

What is your place in Mystique and have you had any successes with them so far?
From the day I entered Mystique Ruud “Bf0x” Tijssen and I had to idea to set up our own team within Mystique. I myself am now team-captain of our team which goes by the name of mTq`eG, eG being our sponsor www.elite-gamegear.com , who are also sponsoring Gamelimited. Because we are a starting team we haven’t had much success so far, but we do plan on going to all the Benelux LANs including The Reality and Beneluxlan.

When you go to these LANs, what are your goals?
The first and most important thing is to have fun, because that is what this team is about. When you have fun the good play will come. But what we hope for is to get at least on the podium.

Do you find these goals realistic, or is it something which can’t be decided as you said, because you are a new team?
In the upcoming time we’re looking to go out there as much as possible to get used to each other. Everybody in the team is a good player so that shouldn’t be a problem, so if we’re used to each other and know how each member plays I’m convinced we can get good results and put our team in the spot lights of the Call of Duty 4 scene.

Will we be seeing you at Frag-O-Matic, where Gamelimited will organize the COD4 and Trackmania tournaments?
Unfortunately we can’t attend there, because we haven’t played together for long enough to go there and perform well, so it’s no use. There will be 2 other teams of Mystique, so we will be present.
